Joel signed up for Global Academy’s Diploma in Professional Culinary Arts to pursue his passion for cooking. “I figured if I was going to keep cooking, I might as well take it more seriously and be a professional cook.”
The hands-on training he got in school had a huge influence not just in how Joel works in the kitchen, but also in how he manages himself and deals with challenges.

Like a seed, Joel’s Global Academy education set him off to his career as a professional chef. “All I’m doing now is growing it by learning new skills and life lessons every day.”
