Grand Diploma in Culinary, Baking and Pastry Arts
Chef-Owner, Un Cuenca
“You can’t just claim the title of ‘Chef’ for yourself after graduating from cooking school. You have to prove it and earn it. Global Academy not only taught me this skills that I need to start a culinary career, it also taught me to be humble, be creative and work hard for my title.”
Jeron graduated in 2010 and spent five years working in Lolo Dad’s and The Rockwell Club. What Jeron loves most about working in the culinary industry is the endless opportunities for learning. While employed, he took in all the practical lessons that he could from his mentor. Having opened his first restaurant in December 2015, Jeron is now learning how to balance being a chef and a businessman. Patience, said Jeron, is what keeps him fueled to work towards success. “I was never in a rush. I started with the basics, and built my experience from there by working long hours.” Jeron looks forward to opening his second restaurant in December.
