John Paul Ozamis is a graduate of Global Academy’s Diploma in Professional Culinary Arts. His training at Global Academy did not only teach him the culinary skills but also gave him the formal knowledge inside the kitchen. After his in-house training and internship, he is now working in an international cruise ship travelling to different countries such as Spain, Italy, France, and Brazil. For eight (8) months he would serve 2,800 passengers breakfast, lunch, and dinner 24/7 with no day offs. It was hard and tiring during the first few months but he eventually took this challenge one day at a time, remembering the core values of Global Academy – Passion, Reliability, Integrity, Commitment, and Excellence. With these in mind, he received a very high evaluation from his head chef and a promise of a promotion on his next contract. He is about to embark to another “cruise adventure” mainly in the Caribbean, South America, and Europe. Believing that he is a chef at heart, no matter how hard & tiring his work can be, he is confident that he is well equipped to be at par with the different nationalities in and out of any cruise.
