Name: Jane Venus S. Padul
Course: GD / Batch 17
Internship Venue: Hyatt Regency Hotel & Casino Manila
“I would really like to thank Global Academy for providing me with so much knowledge. My internship at the hotel wasn’t that difficult because I learned a lot from the school and the school prepared and trained me for this. Thank you very much.”–these were Jane Venus Padul’s grateful words as written in her internship journal.
Jane had her 600 hours of internship training at Hyatt Regency Hotel & Casino Manila and she was assigned at the Japanese section of the Market Café of the hotel. This lady undeniably did well in her training because the Chef De Cuisine of the hotel gave her a job offer right after her internship.
Jane’s experience simply proves that Global Academy’s training is enough to land you a job even before you graduate.
Excerpts from her journal:
“Being hands-on at the Japanese Station is what I consider the best part of my practicum experience. I was taught the proper way of making sushi, slicing sashimi and rolling maki using bamboo mat.”
“The whole internship was not all about skills and knowledge. It was all about attitude too. I learned to be more self-disciplined, humble and patient.”
