Cholo is a graduate of Global Academy’s Diploma in Professional Culinary Arts Program. He grew up in a family who was very fond of cooking. The training and mentorship he received in Global Academy helped him set the right standards and work ethics in the industry he has always wanted to be part of. Now, he is a Garde Manger at Discovery Shores Boracay, one of the best hotel spa’s in Asia. He is in charge of making different appetizers for all functions and is also doing different types of amuse bouche every night for Indigo Restaurant. At a young of 19, he knows he has a long way to go but being able to live the dream this early is already a great achievement (living independently away from his family too).
