Anna Angelica Rañeses is a graduate of Global Academy’s Grand Diploma in Professional Culinary, Baking and Pastry Arts. She had always been fascinated with food and cooking even at a young age and this was what drove her to pursue her formal studies in our school. Global Academy honed her abilities to start her internship in one of the country’s premier hotel, Makati Shangri-La. She was fortunate to have been hired after her apprenticeship and became part of the team at Circles Event Cafe, Makati Shangri-La. The start of her culinary journey was not easy at all. Every day presented her with challenges and trials but she was sure she was well-prepared by Global Academy with their great mentoring and guidance from start to finish. At the age of 17, she achieved her greatest achievement and fulfilled her dream – opening her very own The Geli Deli: Desserts and Delicatessen. This made her realize that one must be able to possess great passion, love and dedication for their chosen career for them to be successful and fulfilled. We are truly glad that Anna found her recipe for success!
